The instructions below will assist you in allowing pop-up windows from a particular site only, if possible. The DLOPS site, www.dlops.com, is used as an example.
Internet Explorer 7.x and 8
- Open the browser.
- From the Tools menu, click Pop-up Blocker.
- Click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
- In the Address of website to allow field, type
www.dlops.com
- Click Add.
- Click Close.
Firefox 3.x
- Open the browser.
- From the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Content icon located across the top of the window.
- Click the Exceptions button located to the right of Block pop-up windows.
- You will see the Allowed Sites dialog box.
- To enable the browser to recognize UD servers as trusted sites and, therefore, enable pop-ups from these sites, in the Address of web site field, type
www.dlops.com
- Click Allow.
- Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
Mozilla 1.7x
- Open the browser.
- From the Edit menu, click Preferences.
- In the left column, double-click Privacy & Security.
- Click Popup Windows.
- Click in the check box in front of Block unrequested pop-up windows.
- Click Allowed Sites.
- In the blank field, type
www.dlops.com
- Click Add.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
Google Chrome
- Open the browser.
- Click the Tools menu, select Options.
- Select the Under the Hood tab.
- Click Content settings... in the "Privacy" section.
- Select the Pop-ups tab.
- Click the Exceptions... button.
- Click the Add button.
- In the blank field, type
www.dlops.com
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
- Click Close.
- Click Close.
Apple Safari
- Open the browser.
- Click the Safari Settings icon
- Un-check the Block Pop-Up Windows menu item.
